Florida’s House Transportation Committee voted overwhelmingly yesterday to approve HB 221, which would create one set of rules for ridesharing in Florida and allow services like Lyft and Uber to operate throughout the state.

The bill will head to the Government Accountability Committee next for approval before being voted on by the full House.
